Stardust

by

The moon rises to the sky, fighting to gained dominance at the battalion of clouds who seems to be more victorious. The night grew deeper as the land slowly consumed by darkness. The moon that once illuminate the land slowly disappear as the cloud reclaim the sky. It was an airy silence. The wind rattles the bark of the tree as deafening sound of the wolves are echoing in the forest. The boy sat on his father lap as he embrace his father hands showing the sign of comfort and protection into the boys eyes. He knew that with his father by his side everything is going to be ok. The warm glow of the candle serve as the beacon of light, hence it is slowly fading away carrying with it the consciousness of the innocent boy. The father never leaves his son because he knew that at that moment he is more vulnerable and prone to imminent danger. As the night grew deeper he was awaken by shivering sound of the crying wolves realizing that the world he knew is covered with immense darkness. Fear had engulf him as he stood up and look into the sky. He saw a small glitters of lights as it continuously to sparkle. He was really amazed of the heavens above timing with small sparkling glitters of sand called the stars. He raises his hands pointing to the sky as a sign of despair and longing tears began to fall into his eyes. The reminiscence of the past as he remember his father story that if stars are like people they look down on us nothing more but simply a grain of sand. As the boy weep the silhouette of his own being began to disappear as it carried by the wind.

I saw a man weeping as he remember embracing the boy whom he love so much. Failure to protect him continuously to hunt him. The man sat alone wondering as he stares into the sky. He slowly began to smile knowing that his son finally realizes of reaching the sky and become a stardust. The candle burned out as darkness consumed the room. The man remain gazing into the sky as the light from horizon will serve as his beacon in times of darkness.
